About Cobb County Pest Solutions

We are a referral service, not a pest control contractor — we may be paid when you call. Full disclosure.

This site exists to answer one question the pest control industry consistently refuses to: what should this actually cost?

What we do

We publish independent pricing and guidance for homeowners across Cobb County and the surrounding North Georgia counties — Cherokee, north Fulton, Paulding, Bartow and Douglas. Real price ranges, sourced. What treatment involves. What to ask before you sign. Which companies serve which areas and who they suit.

What we are not

We are not a pest control company. We do not hold a Georgia Company License, we do not employ technicians, and we will never come to your house. When you call a number on this site you are connected with an independent licensed local operator.

Why that matters. Because we do not sell treatment, we can publish things an operator cannot — that February is the cheapest month to sign, that a quote without measured linear footage is a guess, and that published cost guides disagree with each other by nearly double on the same job.

Why Cobb County

Georgia sits in Termite Infestation Probability Zone 1 — ‘very heavy’, the highest tier in the country. Metro Atlanta sits on Piedmont red clay, which holds moisture far longer than the sandy soils further south. That extended moisture window supports year-round subterranean foraging and stresses the building envelope on older homes. Termite damage rates in Fulton and DeKalb run roughly 30% above the Georgia statewide average. It is one of the most demanding pest environments in the country, and one of the worst-served by transparent information.

What you will find here

  • Real price ranges for every common service, sourced and dated, including the cases where published guides contradict each other.
  • City-level detail that actually differs by city. Housing era decides treatment approach, and a 1984 Dunwoody home and a 2005 Woodstock home need different answers.
  • Company profiles built from public record, framed around who each operator suits rather than a ranking.
  • The questions to ask before signing — the four that separate a calculated quote from a guessed one.

What we get wrong

Pricing moves, companies change hands, and review counts shift weekly. Some of what is here will go stale before we catch it. If you find something wrong — especially on a company profile — tell us. We would rather be corrected than confident.
